Okay, so I've decided to follow the lead of one of my friends, and I'm going to try to post updates at least weekly. So for those that are reading here, you'll have an idea of when to go check :)
So, one month of school is over with. My classes are okay so far. I really like my computer architectures class, computer systems analysis is good but hard, and compilers fall into the indifferent category. Overall grad school feels just like being an undergradute did, except now I'm a TA. Oh wait, the most important change: my ID card is a different color.
Going home last weekend, my transcript finally showed up. It's just a piece of paper, but it's still nice to see something tangible for all the pain and suffering over the past four years. Though then again getting my diploma was this summer was a bit more powerful. But now I know exactly how many semesters I was on the dean's list (6) and other stats that are of interest to no one ;-)
This past month has also had its share of bad news, but I guess life has to move on. I suppose I should be looking for a job, but that just hasn't seemed important.
