Survived another week. I didn't accomplish much over break, but I caught up on sleep, which I guess counts for something.
Random musings:
--It's really cold in Chicago, versus Urbana. Brrr!
--A good tasting, kosher birthday cake apparently does not exist. This year's attempt came from the caterer that did my sister's wedding and my bar mitzvah. It at least was edible, compared to the usual kosher c**p. But I give up.
--Don't bother with UPS air shipments. My birthday present was "misplaced" somehow, and a Wednesday delivery ended up being the next Monday (today). But my sister rocks, and she got Amazon to FedEx overnight a replacement, sent to my school apartment.
Okay, enough complaining :) Good things over break:
--I saw Die Another Day over break. The puns weren't quite as bad as in the past, and not setting my expectations too high, I enjoyed the movie.
--I got the Bond DVD collection for my birthday. Now I just have to wait for free time to invite that special someone over, and curl up in front of the TV :) (can you tell that I like the Bond movies?)
--The family was together again, if only for a few days. And dinner at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse to celebrate my birthday is always a good thing :) Mmm, good steak...
--Trivia Tuesday multiplied with the extra free time over break. There was Trivia Friday, as well as Trivia Monday. So much trivia... It even warranted a relocation for Monday to Damon's, for half-priced appetizers.
